January 8, 2026 - A Minnesota mother of three was shot and killed by a U.S. Immigration and Enforcement agent yesterday. This occurred on January 7th, 2025, a day after 2,000 federal agents arrived in Minneapolis as part of the Trump administration’s immigration operation. Renee Nicole Good, 37, a U.S. citizen, was accused by White House officials of trying to run over an agent with her car, and the agent fired on her in self-defense. Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said that Good tried to “weaponize her vehicle.” However, some state and local officials reportedly disputed that account. The video captured the shooting from multiple angles. Family and friends, meanwhile, described Good as a loving mother who enjoyed singing and writing poetry. She was born in Colorado and has reportedly never been charged with anything involving law enforcement beyond a traffic ticket.
